Platforms may change hands, changing the influence they wish to have on their users. The good news is RSS and Atom offer a decentralized alternative.
I use Netnewswire on macOS and iOS and Thunderbird on Linux for RSS

Saw a post featuring Lydia Lunch which naturally made me think of Richard Kern, which made me think of Sonic Youth. I first became aware of him via the still of his film used as the cover for EVOL. I ended up with several of his books over the years. Always loved his transgressive nature.
