Went down to see the Stonehenge replica monument in Maryhill. Samuel Hill, working from the interpretation that the original Stonehenge was used to sacrifice humans to the god of war, thought it a fitting tribute to those killed in WWI. We still seem to be sacrificing to the gods of war.
