True story: My second car was a Chevy Citation I called the “pinto” due to the amount of rust it had. One night coming home I turned into the street, one away from home, and the axle broke. The car ground to a halt. The next morning all the kind and considerate schoolmates did not mention my car sitting halfway in the vacant lot on the edge of town with it’s right front wheel sticking out at a right angle (of course they fucking did! for months!)
